- That shows the energy is 25 and the text says it takes 40 seconds for it to go from egg to larva (Google says the first sentence means "The Hatchery, Lair or Hive the target generates 4 larvae in 40 seconds."), not that it takes 40 energy, as you edited. I don't want to revert it on you Tiger, but it should be "Larvae", it creates 4 eggs so it should be the plural form. --Tomer 16:06, 27 June 2009 (UTC)
- I definitely see your point, but here's why it is how it is: Q&A 49 referred to it as "Spawn Larva". If the game refers to it as Spawn Larvae, we'll make it that. If the game refers to it as Spawn Larva (and the only indications we have support that it does), then we should keep it as that. The only places a blue has ever referred to "larvae" (and note that neither were in the context of this ability) is one image file name from Q&A 49 (ZERG_TumorLarvae.jpg) and this post in Q&A 41's thread about the now-scrapped Morphalisk. BR2 (transcript at least) calls it "larvae" in connection with the ability, but does not state that the ability is called "Spawn Larvae". BR3 (transcript) says "larva" referring to plural. Looks like Blizz can't really make up their mind, and that's why I want to rely on the concrete-est evidence they give (in this case, the macro announcement Q&A, 49, which listed the ability names...eventually we can just look in the beta or game, but for now we have to live on the tidbits they tell us). --Tiger0211 18:21, 27 June 2009 (UTC)
