The Bunker can be loaded with infantry, who then fire from the safety of the Bunker. Marines and Marauders inside can use Stim Pack via a button that appears when the Bunker is selected. If Stim Pack is not learned, the icon (in inactive state) only appears when a Marine is inside the Bunker. After Stim Pack is learned, it appears active when Marines or Marauders are in the Bunker. When used, all Marines and Marauders inside use Stim Pack. Unlike in SC1, attacks from the Bunker can be targeted just like attacks from a unit or other defensive structure.
Units inside a bunker have +1 range. When a Bunker is empty, the lights are off. This visual difference allows enemies to easily see whether a Bunker is a threat or not. The Neosteel Frame upgrade makes the Bunker look bigger and taller, in addition to increasing its cargo space from 4 to 6.
