Recieving beta key for a friend.

I just recieved the following e-mail:

"StarCraft(r) II: Wings of Liberty(TM) Beta Test - Invite a Friend‏"

I'd like to know if anyone from Blizzard can confirm that they are infact sending out e-mails for testers to invite their friends to the beta as well.

Especially with Blizz-games, the risk of hoaxes are abnormally high. For plain fear of being cheated or something, I'm always very suspicious. The mail itself looks legit enough, but hackers have become adept at faking Blizzard-mails in my experience.

It's legit, yes :)

Enjoy the game with your friend :)

To my friend it say that its not valid.

Yes, it's a known issue with some keys. We're looking into the issue as we speak.
In the meanwhile you could tell your friend to try to enter only 26 digits of the key, this means that he has to leave out the very last digit as he probably received a 27 digit key.

Thank you for your understanding :)

We'll get this sorted out, no worries. Seems to be that one batch of the keys was not activated. Hang on a bit and it should be valid. :)
