Zeratul on starcraft2.com03 Jul 2008, 22:54
by shadowie

Zeratul has been added to starcraft2.com:
Blizzard wrote:It was Zeratul who overcame the prejudices of Executor Tassadar when they met on Char, and thus began to heal the rift between the Aiur protoss and the dark templar. It was Zeratul who was the first to slay a zerg cerebrate although the cerebrates had been thought immortal. Most of all it was Zeratul who returned to Aiur with Tassadar and set into motion the events that would rejoin the sundered halves of the protoss race and overthrow the oppressive rulership of the Conclave.

With the lore update we also got five new screenshots (and a concept drawing), two of which are of Zerathul from the campaign's full 3d mode, absolutely stunning considering they are in-game.

It's also worth noting that the decals previously seen on Terran units are nowhere to be found in these screenshots, good eyesight there nkoplm :p.

"It was Zeratul who was the first to slay a zerg cerebrate although the cerebrates had been thought immortal."

Though a honorable deed, this action actualy gave away the secret location of Aiur. It couldn't be avoided realy though, as the overmind would have had this information if any dark templar killed a cerebrate.

I actually think it would look awesome if it's on top of a Spawning pool

They could add wings... :P

Im not a huge fan of it either, but I saw a low quality video of it, and i think it might look better in 3d and in motion. im hoping anyways.
