the patch is out (at least in EU) but the damn replays still dont work!

I do believe that were tons and tons and tons of complaints about Terran being either 'easy' or OP. So yeh w/e. I don't play em so... I'm glad I don't play em. ^^

hm, i dunno, i don't play terran so i kinda don't care. one thing is i hope that after release they leave the balance alone until the expansion, unless something is really obviously broken... no one's ever gonna come up with anything creative if the game changes everytime a zerg player whines about mech.

or until more skilled asians play something other than zerg, which will stop the nerf train on them atm

Although, I imagine that they'll increase the amount of wins needed to get higher portraits... more along the lines of WC3 (25/150/350/750/1500).

I'm really interested to see what kind of portraits/achievements they have in store for release.

i just hope there's a lot of them.

Switched to Ultra everything in settings after i downloaded this patch. I gotta say im happy with the results. I dont lag and the game looks just that much better.

They've been patching brood war since release. And quite a few of those patches were balance patches. Though the last few haven't been. Because the game is good were it's at. Starcraft 2 is not particularly good where it's at. But it's okay.

seriously? i don't remember the last time i logged back into brood war and had to download a patch. maybe i just didn't notice cos the game has such low system requirements and it patched while i was tabbed out or something.

anyway i didn't play much online brood war so nevermind.

Yeh they've been bug-fixing only from 1.08. But 1.08 and below were all balance changes. And the game has been out for over a decade, that's plenty of time for them to do all those patches and never have you notice them

haha yeah, i mean i remember getting patches years ago but i didn't really know what it meant back then.
