While it has yet to appear on Blizzard's site,
MarketWatch reports that Blizzard has announced that StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty will be released Tuesday, July 27, 2010 worldwide.

Update 3 hours later: Blizzard has since
posted the news release themselves, and added some splash pages and stuff to
the official SC2 site announcing the release date and encouraging you to pre-order SC2 from a retailer)
If you know Blizzard, you know this is not necessarily a final release date, (when will it be out? when it's done!) but at least they're finally ready to tell us when they think SC2 will finally be released!

Actually, this is GREAT! With so much time left, especially considering Blizzard may push this back, there's more time to evaluate the beta and work on the game! The finished product will be all the better for this. I was a bit worried when Gamestop (not a reliable source anyway) said early June, but now it looks like we're in the clear.
EDIT: There's confirmation, Blizzard confirmed this on Facebook.

I think this is another less-exaggerated (but wordier
"Recently, Blizzard hasn't been announcing overly-optimistic dates, only to be forced to push them back to ensure a quality product. I think, therefore, due to this, the fact that this date does not seem overly-optimistic, and the fact that there has been no previous official release date announcements yet (which was pushed back to July 27), it is very likely that July 27 will be the final release date."
